Bio
While many think that once is enough, this Toastmaster never gives up on achieving more. Lina Surianto joined Toastmasters in August 2006 to get rid of her fear in impromptu speaking and to polish her leadership skills.
TM Lina’s commitment and dedication to personal growth and public speaking excellence is evident in her accomplishments within Toastmasters. She has not only been a dedicated member with 6 (six) Distinguished Toastmasters achievements (highest level) but has also served in various district roles such as Public Relations Officer, District Treasurer, Area & Division Director, demonstrating her leadership skills and her desire to contribute to the growth of the organization. Currently, she is taking the role of Finance Manager in District 44, which speaks volumes about her expertise and trust within the Toastmasters community.
In addition to her district involvement, TM Lina also takes an active role within her Toastmasters clubs. She serves as a club officer in not just one, but five Toastmasters clubs, showcasing her passion for fostering an environment of learning and development. Her experience as a club officer provides her with valuable insights into the inner workings of Toastmasters and the impact it can have on individuals and communities.
But TM Lina’s commitment to communication and leadership development doesn’t stop within the boundaries of Toastmasters. She also leads a Youth Leadership Group in Johns Creek, demonstrating her dedication to empowering the next generation and helping them develop the essential skills needed for their future success.
