Background and Experience
Toastmasters Involvement:
A member since 2023, Mariappan currently serves as Area Director (G74, 2025–2026) supporting five clubs. She previously served as Assistant Division Director (2024–2025) and Area Director (H82, 2021–2022). She has also contributed as a Club Mentor and Gavel Club Co-Counselor.
Recognition:
She is a two-time Triple Crown Award recipient and has supported club achievements including President’s Distinguished and Smedley Distinguished recognition.
Education and Career:
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics and works as a Software Development Support Engineer, with experience in cross-functional collaboration, communication, and problem-solving.

She supports clubs in understanding dues cycles and renewals to align with District and club goals.
