What a year 2015-2016 has been. We finish it Distinguished and it is all due to your hard work and dedication to improving your communication and leadership skills. I promise you that your District executive team will continue to work hard to make our District strong and thriving. As I explained last year, to do so, our focus has to be on you, the members.
We will work toward providing opportunities for you to learn and grow as a confident communicator. My focus will be on providing Mentoring/Coaching workshops, Contest Chair and Contest Judging workshops, and a few others to help you realize the value of your membership. We will continue to provide opportunities for you to be mentored and informed by Toastmasters who have achieved success and directly related that to their relationship with Toastmasters. Thank you to all who have worked with your clubs to enrich and, in some cases, revive them. Remember why you joined. Why do you stay? Share your experiences and you knowledge with your new members. To all our many new members, feel free to seek out others to help you reach your goals. Lifelong learning never ends. The beauty of this organization is that we are all in this together. We all are seeking to improve and enhance our skills. Tell us how we can help. My team is here to listen and find ways to help you make a difference in your life and perhaps in the lives of others.
Look for me at the upcoming fall conference where you can feel free to share with me in person, you goals, your accomplishments, and how our District can continue to better serve you.
See you soon.
